    THE CASH IS OUT THERE

Previously i posted on pepgen raised $150mil AU through their IPO

    Now we see again

Code Bio Launches with a $75 mil US - $108 mil AU

    https://www.fiercebiotech.com/biote...enetic-medicine-rare-and-not-so-rare-diseases

Why is our CEO so reluctant to go to the US

    you tell me

Code Bio is not an ipo raising its a series A type raise

They have not even started animal studies as yet !!!!!!

Code Biotherapeutics has wrapped an upsized and oversubscribed series A financing thanks to Northpond Ventures, which led the round. Other investors include Amgen Ventures, UCB Ventures, Takeda Ventures, 4BIO Capital and CureDuchenne Ventures.

    SERIES A TYPE FUNDING
    • Many companies have to complete a number of fundraising rounds before getting to the initial public offering (IPO) stage.
    • These fundraising rounds allow investors to invest money into a growing company in exchange for equity/ownership.
    • The initial investment—also known as seed funding—is followed by various rounds, known as Series A, B, and C.
    • A new valuation is done at the time of each funding round.
    • Valuations are determined by various factors, including market size, company potential, current revenues, and management.

The potential Series A investors will then perform their due diligence (basically reviewing the business model and financial projections to see if they make sense) and then form a decision about whether to invest or not. Remember, this is a high-risk enterprise, as many start-ups don’t make it. If they decide to invest, then it gets down to the nitty-gritty: how much to invest, what will they get in return, and other conditions covering the investment.

In exchange for their investment, typical Series A investors will receive common or preferred stock of the company, deferred stock, or deferred debt, or some combination of those. The entire investment is premised on the valuation of the company, how much it is worth, and how that valuation may change over time. Most Series A investors are looking for significant returns on their money, with 200% to 300% not uncommon objectives over a multi-year period.

We are well passed the series A although we carry a similar type valuation as one

    START UP THAT IS

Why wont they go don't this track

Will never know if they will not answer Questions put forwards to them.
