Most punters that work on predicting highs and lows eventually leave the market disillusioned with their tails between their legs and concentrate on their day job.
They buy at the wrong entry point and sell as the momentum is about to begin. Or alternatively buy high and then average down and get trapped.
All decisions being made emotively without analysis and no investment plan based on ones own company analytical criteria. Often decisions are made re their punt, based on the herd movement and day to day share price.
