I think a take over would be a terrible result. People automatically think that anything with promise will be a T/O target. However, a strong and tight register of holders that k ow the long term potential of a stock will actually make it less likely.
Lots of people said the same about Nanosonics and it may happen one day but I am not sure it will. Plenty of promising stocks have gone on to be the aquirers in their own right. It’s fun to entertain the idea and believe you own something that others will pay above the odds to own but in reality it is far better to let it grow and compound over many years while you own it rather than a quick pay day.
That’s just in my opinion.
EMV is now 35% of my personal portfolio and the largest stock in my SMSF and fingers crossed I get to hold for many years to come.
