Hi H, Chinese saying you have a long life, coz i just mentioned you in my post then you pop out after you been away from here for long. very unique, like T said - it's all depends on how you define unique. sometimes the software doesn't need to be ONLY ONE to be unicorn. you need to be in the right place, right ppl and and right timing. 1. Mr yang who helped to establish JAST is not a passer by. He used to be a director from China Telcom. He is currently Jiangsu province people representative (almost like MP in lower house here). he knows lot of Telecom tycoon/big guns. It has pathed an easy way for JAST to connect to China Telcom in other provinces. Do you know A2 milk? they are distribute via a state owned company in shanghai, they shared the profit hence A2 got 5% of the China Market in a year. Nowadays to do business, collaboration is more important than having the profit pie by yourself. 2. ISS is not a small software developer in china - though 55,000 employees may include lot of contractors - which we know in IT world, contractors are the nom. ISS has been established for many years, and the distribution network is there, IT support is there, sales support is there. we dont need to establish from scratch. just need training on what is VIN, VSP and new to announce products for IOT and SDWAN. 3. do you use Microsoft excel or Apple Numbers? Excel is unique in a way but competitors are out there. So do you means Microsoft should fail coz they are not unique enough? 4. Apple iphone and android phone. they offer similar functions to general public. but iphone has unique sales strategy and target. 5. Cyber security has becomes alarming wanted for any single users. We are in the right time here to offer something to the world. do you know hacker can hack android phone and transact the bank transaction via the app installed? I got at least two friends encountered this before. so, if they can offer something to protect the bank, users dont need to pay, bank will willings to pay on users behalf. Let me know if this is unique enough.

>then you pop out after you been away from here for long. I have not been away. I continue to follow the company. It is just that the share price, which everyone has been talking about (for good reason) does not interest me. I am interested in the company and the technology. The rest of your response is aimed at the wrong person. I have said from day one that VIN is not unique, and happily accept that uniqueness is not a requirement for a successful ICT business. It was @Tiglath who claimed that NET are "offering something very unique" and I was interested in what he was seeing. His response made that clear, nothing.
