If it doesn't work for you it doesn't mean it doesn't work for others.

If I can trade 30% swings 3 times within a year, CGT discount is worthless for me. Also why would anyone tie their results to tax treatment instead of fundamentals? Do you trade to reduce your tax or maximise profits?

Personally, I removed the CGT discount bias from my investment system and started investing through a company. Never hold too long now.
