Gross shorts on the 31 Aug totalled only 12k.

Total volume traded accross both exchanges was just over 1m for the day.
Trend has seen very little short sales
The day before for the 30th gross shorts 6k - volume was only 875k.

If we look back at the 26th where volume was 1.3m - short sales we only 26k

Last few days: the 1st Sep ( which impact we will see recorded today) Gross shorts was 10k -on vol 1.1m, 2nd Sept shorts 3k ,on vol 1m , 3rd Sept shorts 200 only against vol 682k.

A possible error in shortman reporting or maybe even ASX reporting ?
Next few days reporting on shortman might give a clue.
