The very credible advise I have is that D Day will be in June when the rejected BME/OA patent is either reversed or upheld. Despite the ASX playing down the importance of this patent, IMO it is very material. If it is reversed, a pharma deal could be done. If however the final rejection becomes absolutely final, no deal with pharma is likely unless bene is directly involved because the exclusive supply agreement is then pharma's only real insurance of a proprietary position. Just my opinion and others will no doubt disagree, but the advice I have is that the 3 granted BME patents simply won't stand up if challenged by OA claims so pharma won't place much, if any value on them. DYOR and you may conclude otherwise, but I doubt it. Let's see what happens in June.
