I feel like the SP will wallow in the channel for a bit until there is some significant news. If it jumps the channel upper trend line that might be cause for some buying. If there is buying that is aimed at lifting SP to justify the purchase of options then that is possible.
If the SP goes below the bottom trend then all bets are off for me.
