If there is only one interested party for a regional partnership then a $2 or 25cent share price wouldn’t make any difference to the outcome of a deal.
Any acceptable deal will need to have competitive tension and be based on what can be achieved out the back with a successful result of phase 3.
How did they arrive at the biosplice agreement or any other private campany deal with no publicly listed market cap?
I always see people suggest just buying the company for some low ball offer, it’s never that simple and with the register PAR have it wouldn’t happen.
