They assist to predict probabilities and capture trader psychology with factual data points that occur time and time again and eventually common patterns can be pre-identified when replication is evident. Also really smart people use them .
A mix of Fundamentals & Technical analysis are the best way to protect and increase your wealth.
If you are only looking at fundamentals then you are only seeing a 1/3rd of the picture and are more likely to be emotionally driven in your investment choices. Helps to reduce FOMO.
Also it's a forum not an investment advice firm so I post to learn and for others to learn and critique.

Funny that I don't read you playing devils advocate for the rest of the non technical drivel that gets posted here which is in itself less factual than a chart . I look forward to you pulling into line the cheerleaders in the weeks to months ahead.
