There are no indicators, fundamentally or technically, that support this idea. Even the mapping on the chart is haphazard, drawn to support an agenda based on the 'gap fill' concept, which is often misunderstood.
Exhaustion gaps are those mostly filled, not continuation or breakout gaps, such as in the case of BRN during mid last year.
