Fun Fact:
There has been plenty of co-op between Tesla and Merc over recent history.
Back in the day, Merc invested 50 million dollars into Tesla and took a 10 % position.
I think they sold their entire stake about 5 years later for a nice tidy profit of about 780 million.
If Merc had held on to their 10%, today it would be worth more than the entire market cap of Merc itself !
I did see / read ( can't remember where ), some speculation recently that Tesla may be considering a take over of Mercedes ?
Certainly not outside the realm of possibilities given Tesla's overwhelming market cap.
I think they're worth more than next biggest 5 or 6 Auto companies by market cap - Combined !
