Yikes! Pretty much all of those would have been deep under water too, most shorting was done in the 45-65c range.
BRN above $1? I think we'll see that chart start to build again. If you thought BRN was good to short at 50c, then you'd be crazy not to short it at $1 then? Good luck to them.
