Check your trading platform to see the total number of shares actually traded that day and get back to me if you still think this information is true.
ANZ shows a total of 29M traded on Jan 4. - This does not include Chi-X but I don’t believe that “short” number for one minute.
It is not uncommon for shortman data to be incorrect. It wouldn’t surprise if it covered the error tomorrow.
But hey, let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good story…..
