Sir that's not how tax works. You pay your marginal tax rate on your gain if held for less than 1 year (Not sure what your income is, but most people fit into the 32.5% or 37% tax brackets). If you hold for longer than 1 year halve your gain and apply marginal rate to that (Not the 100% correct method but the easiest way to roughly work out your tax liability).
