You'd have said the same thing when it dropped -30% from $1.9 to $1.33 back on the 14th. This pull back looks to have lost steam at only -18%.
Your "spinning top confirmed the following day by lower prices" has historically more often than not indicated a rally, see for yourself by taking a look at the 2020 bull run.
