What you have just said is spot on. Once the fundamentals have changed, trying to draw any correlation from the numbers before that point doesn't make any technical sense.

But, I do find it amusing reading all these newbie posts with a lot of diagonal lines drawn all over charts and then come up with their predictions. The charts only provide a probability of an action occurring based on peoples perception and emotion on what the chart will do (but once a fundamental changes, information on the chart prior that point is irrelevant.

The 2 main possible scenarios from interpreting a chart are ever up or down, so each chartist will hopefully be right 50% of the time (well not quite because the third scenario is potentially no movement).

Anyone care for some two up at the casino?

Anyway, I'm going to go watch Cobra Kai now, and you newbies continue drawing some diagonal lines that will amuse me tomorrow morning.
