That's not true.
Timing the market is an issue. Tax is an issue.
Many when they sell out and miss another price increase don't get back in saying to themselves, it is too expensive now I'll look elsewhere. Price continues to rise (with pullbacks from time to time) getting ever new ATH's and the LTH has now got their full CGT entitlement and the trader is on here saying, I had these at $XX but sold out, I just should have held on.
End of the day, you trade/invest for your own personal needs. They may not be the same as someone else's.
