A timely reminder to myself about getting burnt…

It’s time to fess up. I was one of the idiots, who after building a handsome freely held parcel from 2016, sold out in March 2020 for 3.5 cents…close to the all time low…I still can’t believe my stupidity. By the end of April, I realised my mistake and bought back in using the same funds.

It cost me 40% of my hard won holding. No doubt a few years successfully building it had created a sense of bravado.

Since then I’ve continued to follow my instinct, but have added a serious dose of discipline to my madness. This has enabled me to get back my lost parcel and more.

The trade outlined in my earlier post was a big step away from this, and a warning that I might just be getting a tad over confident again. I got lucky today, but it’s time to pull my head in.
