Just a note that this is not meant to be a comparison between the two stocks, but if you look at where GameStop (GME) was sitting back on January 8, 2021, it was USD 17.69 before the short squeeze. The company's stock price was declining slowly due to some important factors: games were being purchased digitally online and consoles were being sold at competitive prices by large retailers and online merchants.

One buyer saw value in what was still a large number of console owners still purchasing used games, the more lucrative portion of GameStop's business. GameStop wasn't a startup in the early phases of the company's development and I don't think that they have done much of anything that would be considered innovative lately.

For those who would have purchased GME stock due to the short squeeze around this time last year, the stock sold at USD 76.79, and for those lucky holders that sold at the peak (about USD 347.51), it was a windfall. Now fast forward to today. While the stock price has been declining since last November, it is currently selling at USD 100.15.

My point is that even for those who got into GME after bargain prices, those who purchased at $76.79 and sold at $100.15 by just hanging onto the stock for a year would have still walked away with 30% profit on their investment. Warren Buffet once wrote in a letter to shareholders back in 1997, "If you aren't willing to own a stock for ten years, don't even think about owning it for ten minutes."

This is not investment advice, take it as you will. However, I believe in the product that Brainchip has engineered and they have made significant progress in their R&D, marketing and commercialization. I can't help but wonder where the stock price will be one year from today, much less ten years.
