Is that black line drawn based on mathematical averages? Or drawn based on the assumption that BRN will drop to $1.25 (to fill the gap) and then move up from there?

My daily chart for BRN showed the SP breaching the trend line which started on December 31st.
My chart shows the next stop at approx $1.18.
If $1.18 doesn't hold then it's down to ~$1
