Good pieces of information. I am a great believer in Brainchip and have stubbornly hung on for years through all the ups and downs and have been handsomely rewarded. I'm remaining in for the longer term. Not selling this golden goose!
Just as a matter of interest on your point 2 where you note stocks lose 36% on average in a bear market, but gain 114% on average in a bull market, I will just point out for those less experienced that the two percentages cannot be directly compared.
For instance if a $100 stock loses 50% to be worth $50 it needs to then gain 100% in order to regain its previous value and be worth $100 again.
However your overall point is still valid because the average gain is still higher than the average loss. Well done!
