I'll put it in terms that make it easy for you to understand. What makes you so certain Mercedes aren't using other chips in their concept car as well? Or even that Mercedes won't simply change their mind and not go ahead with the car, or not go ahead with the car for many many more years, or when they go ahead with the car, they select another chip which costs less and does the same job.

Being a concept, it is constantly changing, being tested and the design and parts within it are also subject to constant change.

It doesn't mean that Akida won't end up in a production car at some point - but if you think Akida in Mercedes is a sure thing based on nothing other than Mercedes saying Akida is in their 'concept vehicle', you're taking on a lot more risk than you think you are.
