As far as Australia goes, it’s hard to imagine any further rate rises being necessary or productive. The number of people getting rude shocks over the next few weeks and months is huge (rolling off fixed loans secured around 3% and moving to variable rates far higher).
The impact on the economy this year will be severe IMO - disposable income will be a concept of the past as it’s all just transferred straight from payroll payments to bank mortgage accounts.
