An obvious possibility is they believe BRN still remains overvalued.

Given:

- BRN has a market cap in excess of $800,000,000
- it has generated minimal revenue to date,
- The BRN CEO seemed to recently concede they had difficulty selling Akida v1.0, and
- the competitive landscape is only going to get more challenging

it's not difficult to understand why some people might think it remains overvalued.

In my view, the BRN share price has been inflated, at least in part, as a result of naïve retail investors (most with no relevant engineering background to understand the product or sector) blindly believing all the frenzied ramping on social media and stock market forums that BRN is an almost guaranteed ticket to great wealth.
