Noted @zeeb0t, there are different categories of investors here, Some ppl managed to swing trade and can result in making good money rather than sweating out holding when sp is down. All have different views.

I acknowledge that long term is good investment, but I'm also conscious about short term where fluctuations can means sometimes the sp will hit your stop loss or selling when one can't bear it anymore.

Hope everyone has a risk mgt strategy in place. Again, I have seen investors holding good profit and loosing all and even some capital, all becoz they were "in love" with the stock. At the end of the day, booking in real profit is the key. Managing a good runner is harder than cutting a losing one, as greed takes over our sanity.
