Despite my watching this thread only on the sidelines since my last post,
for the sake of a few people who reached out for me to say something
regarding technicals:
All I will say here, is that you can now understand why I said my stop is
where it is and how if I had had it under 0.44 my long term parcel would
now be gone...
As @Saragian said, it is the close price that matters most. 0.44 might
hold from that perspective. It is also hanging around the retest level
of the 5 week SMA. I would be surprised to see this below 0.365
today.
BRN is also now hanging around the retest of the 5 week SMA.
What has happened here is pretty normal behaviour for a company at this
stage of development (ie: without contracts with numbers attached)
after such a stellar and near-vertical rise of many multiples of the share
price.
BRN is in the vicinity of a typical level for a breakdown of a Parabolic Advance.
The best strategy for those who are unsure themselves of what to do
is patience. Fight the FOMO and the FEAR and make calm decisions with risk
management at the forefront. One cannot ignore the possibility of another leg down.
True long term holders are having a field day today getting their "cheap" shares
but if one does not have the confidence and knowledge and experience to bear
what that entails it is not a great move.
Picking bottoms is the most tempting and yet dangerous thing from a trading
perspective, I know very few traders who have done so successfully over time.
Buying at even higher levels after prices have stabilized is a much more manageable
situation. All IMHO
