I use several features of charting. I won't go into them all here. I don't completely swear by fibs, but have found them very very useful so I am not surprised by market events.

So lets have a brief look and BRN's recent activity. On 1st Sep the SP closed at 0.31c in 6 trading days the price rose to a peak of 0.97 on the 9th Sep. That's crazy. Also notice that on the 9th Sep that the closing price was 0.75 , that's a long way from the peak of 0.97. In fact in the opening hour at 10 am 9 Sep the SP traded in the range of 0.695 to 0.97 closing in that hour at 0.875 that is insane.

So following after that insane period the next 5 trading days saw a fall to a bottom of 0.39 on the 16 Sep, closing at 0.42 today 17 Sep.
Let for rationality sake just examine the closing prices for each day leading from 1 Sep to 17 Sep ignoring the hourly surges and drops.

Look at these numbers

31 , 47.5 , 50 , 56, 73 ,75 , 75 , 64 , 67, 49 ,47. 42 the 42c was the close as at 17 Sep.

So from the 1 to 17 Sep over 12 trading days the SP rose by 35.4% and panic is the new elephant in the room. Hard to find any stock that rose by 35.4% in 12 trading days. Fibs helped me through this period

The daily hi-lo charts exaggerate this movement. 31 to 97 to 42. Oh my god it crashed from 97 to 42 when it only reached 97 in one hour of trading and fell back to 87.5 in that same hour.

Its getting late I am off to bed.
