Sometimes the little grey cells work better than other times and it occurs to me that at the moment the company has restrictions on it due to NDA’s.
The ASX now has a policy that they will not publish announcements about contracts unless you disclose who the contract is with and in broad terms what it is about.
Thus if a company say BRN has attempted to have certain details published/released by the ASX but are prevented and then release the same information by general press release if they received a please explain the answer would be that they attempted to release the following on ASX but was rejected so they issued same via a press release and this would appear to be what has caused the movement in price.
Catch22 for ASX they have to publish the answer and they would not be entitled to demand names be included.
