Your call that there would be an overhang of buyers at the higher levels looking to quit (or break near even) if ever those levels were approached again made a lot of sense to me. As did the logic behind your anticipated August time line for that to occur with a rising price. It still makes sense actually (unless another event overtakes that, as could be the case).
A fair percentage of the retail buyers at those previous higher levels will be looking more towards the current upwards movement as an opportunity to recover funds in preference to thinking that it may push past those previous highs. The "once bitten twice shy ' or "a bird - back - in the hand will do just fine thank you very much".
Hence the calls that retail shareholders will reduce in numbers is also a very logical one.
