What you quoted from the poster did not infer a gtee of commercialisation or revenue but you try illicit a response to your own inference and bias.
Signing an NDA doesn't discount the possible achievement of commercialisation and revenue either and actually would likely increase the chances at least, given the door has been opened for testing and dialogue.
So as a minimum, your post and point is moot like a lot of what you post.
