I think you need to re-read what I wrote and what you have written. You are concurring with me.

Should all else be equal then a chart is in play, however should there be a new discovery of material affect then there is no relevance in the previous chart. The example you have used expresses that

The chart above is of CHN with channels, Gann fans and fibonacci retracements. None of those predicted the surge that occurred from a discovery. You could put whatever other trend lines, resistance levels, speed lines, pitchforks, fib arcs, Elliot waves etc and you still cannot, predict a drilling result. If you could it wouldn't be called exploration.

I looked for an entry into DEV based on charts, the exit hopefully will be achieved without any need to look at a chart.. as in there will be a good discovery and the price will punch ahead. I guess I don't normally do much with mining stocks so maybe I'm out of my depth? Based on what I look at there isn't a mad rush to get in but if I knew it all then I'd be the next Warren Buffet. Happy to admit I dunnomuch
