I think everyone cares about how many shares a company have on its registry if they are looking to invest in it.

I'm not saying it's the be all and end all, but watching this trade late arvo it was stupid how much volume was being dumped.

because, there's just so many more people who accept a level of profit and sell down.

if there was far less shares on offer then hey presto, less people capable of making the same decision.

simple supply/ demand. it's not to say there isn't value, or it can't go near vertical if news is big enough, just means it's less likely and news has to be beyond excellent to see it happen.
