because there are two exchanges open to brokers to make the trade. Via ASX or ChiX.
I have multiple brokers I work with. As an example, if I place an at market trade with Westpac, their first option is to run that through chiX because it’s cheaper to them.
If not at market then the order can be seen by me on my screen that reflects the ASX.
if you can’t see your trade in the course of sales it’s like because it was executed via ChiX.
