I certainly do not want to engage in a discussion regarding the merits of either TA or FA but may i simply proffer that your post offers a rather myopic viewpoint.
TA can be a very useful tool if one has taken the time to develop skills - much the same as someone who uses FA should be competent in reading and interpreting the financials of an entity.
Neither is necessarily right or wrong - as in life we all choose what path we lead.
