    Yeah, there is a list of conditions that occur when these trend changes happen. Working out the most reliable ones is the key.
    I'm still torn between taking profits and following with a stop that catches most of the move, TMG for example, I'd still be in that using my standard 35 day lowest low trailing stop.

    I think what we know for certain is;
    1. It needs to be a long term low, > 6-12 months.
    2. It needs a double bottom.
    3. Long term momentum needs to be rising during this process.

    The other factors are just confirmation of trend change (GC) or entry triggers (daily macd at breakout locaiton etc.).
    BRN is a good example where the setup was there, but it just didn't follow through with either momentum or the GC for the trend reversal.

    @W3hunter, for me the GC is a bit too laggy in a lot of these trades, we are seeing quite a few that are well underway by the time the GC happens, which is fine for jumping on a running trade, but we will miss quite a few entries down lower, which is where the 2,3,4x's happen from. I'm thinking I might change up the scan to catch the long term low followed by a shorter term ema crossing the 200, 8 or 13 say. If you look at the charts you posted, this will be pretty close to the entry trigger level, it could even be a trigger in itself?
