I've had that down as one of the possible entry triggers for a while now. I got thinking about the turtle traders and how that system doesn't really work so much these days with the original parameters, but it does still work on the longer timeframes, i.e. less fakeouts, which using the 9ema essentially does. It avoids those volatile spikes even if they are a couple of days up before reversing.
Also, the 9ema through the 61.8 fib was one of the old entries, which is most of the time a new high for the ema. Uncanny how often that lines up!
