Lately I`ve been realising that our profit "expectations" and the reality of what's on offer are a bit different..nothing wrong with our TA targets its just that the market conditions are way too choppy, so we must also be prepared to take less if thats all there is..too many times this year I`ve been up $000`s and thought...nup hang in there ride the 9 ema etc.. only to see it all vanish 2 or 3 times on a trade then sell at breakeven or a loss...I`ve "compartmentalised" these two mindsets now and for the time being return on capital is the deciding factor.. 20% return on a $50K trade in a week or two will do (or more if its still clearly looking that way). but then on to the next one...thats working well so far.
