i wouldn't say its random movement, chart analysis has been used for hundreds of years and its the most accurate way of predicting the potential movement in the price with the help of fundamental analysis.
Im not saying its gospal or always 100% accurate, but it gives you a better idea of what the potential outcome could be rather than just guessing. No one has a crystal ball
So keep rolling your dice and guessing, good luck you will need it
