ahhh, I've found it difficult to figure out if where I place the resistance lines on charts, if they are in the correct place etc.
So I tend to just use MACD and the bollinger bands to try get a picture for what is happened and likely to happen.

I feel that the market is manipulated in so many different ways, it is too hard to apply any logic to what is happening.
There are the bots that sometimes machine gun a stock with 1 share trades. There are some hot copper posters that are all grouped in a room that are part of some larger media campaign to manipulate a stock up or down. Then there are the traders that put in trade orders to make it look like there is a lot of demand to buy or sell, only to pull those orders to suit some strategy.
Likely all the different actors impact each other as well.
