Each to their own however I've found TA to be extremely useful for trading and investing.
Here is a simplistic example of the Volume profile for CYM and how one can interpret it.

- As you can see the current SP is still below its historical VWAP indicating there is still significant dated supply to chew through.
- The volume profile of late indicates accumulation as volume is increased on the rises up and decreases on the way down.
- There is significant demand from 15c
- There is minimal supply above 27c

The key in my eyes will be for the price to push through the yellow shaded indicated range and hold that price. If this occurs then odds are ATH's won't be too far off. Clearly market factors will influence the action however using tools such as volume can provide a greater understanding of price action and increase risk vs reward.
