Big corporates accumulating a stock are unlikely to let it run too hard over 3 or more days. It becomes an expensive exercise. They are averaging up each time.
They will run it one day and then often try and get the profit takers or those that lift their stop/loss up with the rising price to hand over their shares by pushing the price down a bit either during the course of a day or the next day.
The key is to hold for at least 2-3wks whilst this game goes on as it can be a bit of a roller coaster
