I disagree with your assessment of the fair value of Silex.
The steep ramp up is required due to the sharp dropoff in share price. I paid $4.09 for my first SLX shares in late 1999 and I also put considerable amount of money in at around 20c and all prices in between
I guess my point is a large rampup is only required to get back to fair market value because of the unreasonably large dropoff in share price that occurred. They weren't worth $4.09 in 1999 but they sure are now
