My comments were made off the cuff, but from memory for quite some time our sp was one hundred millionth of our market cap (so 30cps was roughly $30m market cap), whereas nowadays we've got about 200 million shares on issue.
The purchasing power of a 2007 dollar is probably not too far off $1.45 in 2022. So I suppose if what you're saying about our number of shares on issue is true, then the growth in shares on issue is roughly comparable to the growth in CPI (apples and oranges I know, but just an observation).
If you were to instead use growth in M3 money supply as a marker, then $1 in 2007 is almost $4 today, which would mean that our $13 sp peak was more like $52 in today's money.
