I think GLE have way more to offer the DOE than Centrus ever would and by a long margin! Centrus are really only in the game because it is using American owned technology which can be used to enrich Uranium for the Military EOS.
I don't believe for one minutte that if GLE and Centrus went head to head, Centrus would win anything?
GLE will be far better technology IMHO and far cheaper and cost far less to build a similar size plant as well with the same output and Laser enrichment is far more suited to enriching tails, something that the centrifuge technology isn't really that efficient at! and with that comes stuff is that it is already converted, that takes pressure off the conversion requirements in the US.
There is absolutely no comparison IMHO.
