do you want a divvie or share buyback with potential gle sale proceeds?
1) divvie: given slx have never made a profit, i assume any divvie would be unfranked unless the cameco acquisition was considered a capital distribution which would be interesting as most of us would then have a negative cost base. Is that even possible?
2) share buyback: share price should rise proportionate to buyback and we can then choose to sell some if we want. Resultant capital gain would get a 50% discount for holders greater than a year.
my initial thoughts are that a buyback may work best for most shareholders happy to hear alternative views.
