Happy New Year to all holders. A 138% CY22 return when the XAO was 5.5% down is a cracking year by any anybody's standards (except perhaps Sewie)!
I just checked, and it seems that for EACH of three of the last four calendar years, we've been up by well over 100% (CY19, CY20 and CY22)!
Despite this, fantastic performance, the fundamentals have improved so much, that the stock still seems very cheap to me. If I wasn't already such a big holder, I'd definitely be a buyer at these prices, and SLX still sits well inside my top 10 list of most promising investment ideas.
Hopefully, in 365 days' time, I can point to this post as an "I told you so" moment as we celebrate four years out of five.
