Not many other gold stocks around us are getting shorted are they. Someone has clearly put a target on us for now. For whatever reason I am not sure (it could even be to accumulate cheaper shares), but paying off the loan and being debt free may be one means of taking the target off our backs. That is likely to happen with one of the next gold pour payments. Continued gold related news flow is the key in my opinion, especially in this gold market. That will create enough interest to counter any shorting and after a few times of the shorters failing, they will soon give up and actually move to sectors struggling such as tech, lithium, property etc. They are only successful now because of the tariff situation. 99% of the market is in the red.

The initial Trump tariff fear will soon subside, and gold will be the first sector to rebound back to where it was previously trending. We are heading towards a depression (the data is saying most countries are already in recessions, but the media do not talk about it, and governments fudge the data to try to hide it, so their people keep spending money).
