newB, That previous low was on a Monday before the announcement of the divestment in EM Solutions, the announcement came after 6pm and some posters here have rightly -IMO- called it a "leak", so - to answer your question: yes under normal circumstances but no in this case - IMO - Because the higher volumes were due to the disclosure of confidential information and that altered the course of trading and volumes, furthermore trading volumes yesterday were on the higher side of the average: yesterday cannot be categorised as a "low volume day" - with more than 751K securities traded it was in fact the highest daily volume for the week.
