    The trouble with any stock retracing and old down trend though is the locked in losers often settle for breakeven on the way back up, thus hampering any recovery

    the original trend here was all in blue sky (no backlog of losers), plus the fact that a 50% drop needs a 100% rise just to break even again makes it very very dificult.
